To support our success we are currently seeking a Marketing Analyst to join the Brand Marketing team in our Brisbane head office.


About the Role...

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for evaluating marketing initiatives as well as tracking and maximising the effectiveness and Return on Investment (ROI) of these initiatives through their contribution to the strategic agenda and corporate goals.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the evaluation and development of business cases for new brand marketing initiatives and generate insights from data to help drive business decisions.
  • Devise and evaluate methods for collection of data and manage the development and maintenance of frameworks that enable the team to measure the performance and effectiveness of brand initiatives, including advertising, events, and sponsorships, against set KPIs linked to corporate goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to process and analyse marketing data and translate complex results into tables, graphs and written reports that draws clear links between brand initiatives and key business metrics and provides a narrative from which to drive meaningful discussion with the Brand team’s key stakeholders.
  • Leverage consumer and product insights to inform marketing plans and build the team’s strategic capability via competitor intelligence, as well as tracking and forecasting trends in marketing.


About You...

To ensure success you will possess:

  • Experienced marketing analyst with strong commercial acumen and ability to think strategically and objectively to achieve business objectives.
  • Degree in marketing, statistics, and/or business with 3+ years of experience in marketing campaign analytics and optimisation in order to produce actionable recommendations and results.
  • Extensive experience making data-driven decisions, reviewing and deriving insights from post campaign implementation data and translating outcomes to various stakeholders at all levels of the organisation including the executive team and the board.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, highly organised and detail-oriented.

Candidates with a solid knowledge of financial services, particularly superannuation industry, products, and the environment will be highly regarded.
